A magic pill transforms the gas grill into something brilliant: the charcoal deposits fall to pieces.
A thick layer of carbon deposits gradually builds up on the grates of a gas stove, which cannot be removed with conventional methods. To keep my kitchen tidy,
I've been using a product for several years that allows me to quickly remove soot and grease.
I have a cast iron grate, but this method also works with grates made of other metals.
Dishwasher tablet: all-purpose detergent.
First, you need a pan that fits on the grill. Fill it with water and place it on the stove. Add two dishwasher tablets to the water. Bring the water to a boil; then, place a rack in the pan and let it boil for about half an hour.
After removing the rack from the hot water, begin cleaning it immediately; any available tool will work, such as a sponge or a brush.
The action of the hot water and the tablet's components will soften the grease, making it easy to remove. Any remaining hardened carbon deposits can be scraped off with a knife.
This way I clean half of the rack, then I turn it over, put the dirty part in the pan and repeat everything described above.
